to an even higher dynamic range up to 3.7 Dmax.
By choosing the functions such as High Density
from MagicScan or Multisampling from SilverFast,
the CCD-array will recapture image data at the
same position and save the data in a buffer
before moving to the next position. The saved
image information is then combined to produce
a resulting image which demonstrates reduced
noise and improved fine details (includes the
darkest area).
